Episode Summary
Orful Fuk was introduced to hashing by Singapore friends in Christchurch around 2009–10 and later became deeply involved in Bali’s many clubs. A formative Borobudur Interhash hooked him on large events, while his organizational instincts drew him into accommodation, registration, communications, and the behind-the-scenes information networks that keep international hashing connected.
He offers frank views on event pricing, red-dress charity, governance, intellectual ownership, club data, and the Interhash Council, including his involvement with the successful 2026 Indonesia bid. Illness had recently kept him off trail, but not away from planning or advocacy. The episode reveals the less visible labor behind global events—and an organizer determined that Interhash serve ordinary hashers as well as ambitious hosts.
