Episode Summary

Sweet Transvestite discovered hashing as a young U.S. Air Force lieutenant at Osan, Korea, in August 1994. He joined the Bulgogi Hash’s 300th run, where red helium balloons bobbing above runners through the Songtan market created an unforgettable first impression. During a one-year remote tour, the hash supplied adventure, friendship, and a place to exercise his talent for elaborate naming stories.

Later assignments took him to Florida, Italy, Germany, and other military communities, where he helped establish and strengthen kennels, hare trails, and lead circles.
